End of sentence. Full stop. You can then punch the tool in the face because y’all know that is what Michonne would do. It took mere seconds for Michonne to become the reason to give The Walking Dead after shot this season after almost walking away last season. With one swift motion of her sword, Michonne become the undisputed bad-ass of television. Danai Gurira combination of calm intensity and frightening stillness is wonderful. She stares at the camera and that look speaks volumes. You know this woman has been through hell but she has survived. She has adjusted. She will not be at the mercy of this world, not ever again. It is all there in her eyes. It makes you wonder who Michonne was before the world went to hell. The Walking Dead midseason finale give us, perhaps, a glimpse into that Michonne. When she see the Governor’s daughter, she is tender, warm and loving … for just a moment… there was a hint of the woman she must have been and it was beautiful to watch.
